Junaluska Associates records, 1968-present
The Junaluska Associates organization was formed in 1968 to assist Lake Junaluska in meeting its mission and ministry by recruiting 1,000 individuals to give $100.00 per year. The primary goal of the organization is to provide funding for beautification and other improvements to the Assembly grounds. The collection consists of records created from 1968-2008. The information includes, but is not limited to, the founding of the organization, budgets, correspondence, membership rosters, minutes, newsletters, the Associates Weekend event, the Rose Walk project, photographs, and other memorabilia.
